Since founding Gaia Human Capital Consultants in 2006, Dawn Dzurilla has become a recognized executive search leader within the cleantech and renewable energy industry.  She leverages twenty-plus years of senior-level executive search, team-building and organizational experience to serve clients in attracting and securing world-class, senior-executive talent to each client engagement.

She is a frequent public speaker and the author of several articles providing strategic human capital and leadership solutions within the Global Cleantech and Green Economy.  She is a Contributing Columnist for www.RenewableEnergyWorld.com, the most widely read publication in the renewable energy industry. She is an outspoken proponent, advocating "green collar" executive and professional careers.  Dawn has hosted conferences and written and spoken publicly about the challenges and solutions that cleantech firms face today when attempting to attract and secure world-class executive leadership.

Dawn's Cleantech career began when she served for several years as Managing Director of Corporate Development for Cleantech firm, a premier manufacturer of environmental and medical waste management technology solutions. Dawn built and managed the firm's entire product and employment brand management strategy and positioned the firm for significantly new business growth opportunities.

An accomplished EcoPreneur, immediately prior to founding Gaia HCC, Dawn Co-founded and was President of H3 Capital, LLC, an innovative Socially Responsible Investment Management (SRI) firm.  The firm carefully screened, selected and managed investments based on issues which integrated sustainable and environmental concerns.
 

Prior, for 15 years, Dawn built a retainer executive search firm, completing scores of C-level and professional search assignments serving clients in the financial services industry and for one client, started-up and managed their successful MBA Associate and Analyst recruitment program. Dawn is involved in various professional organizations including, member of the Leadership Council of the American Council On Renewable Energy.  She earned her BS degree from St. John's University in New York City.  Dawn is a resident of Naples, FL and New York City.

Ken partners with Gaia Human Capital Consultants cleantech and renewable energy clients to deliver world-class talent.  Over the course of Ken's seven plus years executive search career, he has led and executed several senior-level client search mandates and served as a trusted advisor and partner in all aspects of client executive search and talent acquisition initiatives. 

At Gaia Human Capital Consultants, Ken originates and executes client search engagements, serving clients in the cleantech, renewable energy, investment banking, venture capital & private equity and carbon market fund industry sectors.

For several years, Ken partnered with top tier clients in the financial services industry including, Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley.  In addition to managing some of his former firm’s largest Investment Bank clients, Ken led many Hedge Fund & Private Equity critical talent projects across the fund’s various portfolio companies.

Ken has served as a trusted consultant for clients in the geothermal and solar energy industry.  He is firmly committed and bullish in his outlook on Cleantech and strongly committed to social and eco-responsibility issues. 

Earlier in his career, Ken was the Principal and founder of a multi-state marketing firm based in Tampa, Florida.  His experience in market research, proper messaging and product branding has further strengthened Ken’s resolve in the importance of the role of executive search in today’s competitive marketplace. 

Ken, attended the University of Connecticut and served in the military as a U.S. Army Ranger and is a resident of Connecticut.

Zoe L. Van Schyndel, CFA®, brings a wealth of diverse experience in sustainability, investments, clean technology and environmentalism to every client partnership.  In addition to her client executive search and talent acquisition responsibilities, Zoe is the Practice Leader of Gaia Human Capital Consultants' Green Employee Benefits consulting business.  Additionally, Zoe is a faculty member at Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA. 

An acclaimed author and lecturer, Zoe is a Contributing Columnist for the investment web site, The Motley Fool, on investment issues and historically has written about green tech and socially responsible investments.

Zoe co founded with Gaia Human Capital Consultants' Founder & President, Dawn Dzurilla an innovative Socially Responsible Investment Management (SRI) firm, which carefully screened, selected and managed investments based on issues of sustainability, corporate and social responsibility. She served as Chief Investment & Compliance Office.  Among the firm's offerings, which integrated sustainable, personal, societal values & environmental concerns with individual investment decisions, was an actively managed renewable energy fund.


Zoe was instrumental in initiating the iShares KLD Select Social Index Fund (KLD), one of the first socially responsible exchange-traded funds. She also led the development of the KLD/Russell Mellon family of socially responsible indexes.

Previously, she was a New England regional manager at the Securities and Exchange Commission, responsible for regulatory oversight of investment advisors and mutual funds.  

Zoe, earned her Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University and is a resident of Olympia, WA.

Myrna is an accomplished professional with over twenty years experience in various leadership and managerial roles.  Gaia Human Capital Consultants thought-leadership role where the Green Economy and executive search intersect is greatly enhanced by Myrna's council and varied experience. 

Myrna presently serves as President of The Princeton Club of Southwest Florida and as Chairperson of PCSWF's Board of Directors.  Additionally for several years, Myrna has served as a member of the Princeton Alumni School Committee, which interviews and evaluates the most promising and talented upper class-member high school students who have applied to the University and interested in participating in outstanding educational opportunities. 

Myrna earned her Bachelors Degree from Princeton University and attended Harvard Business School and is a resident of Naples, FL.
